Having rechargeable c batteries in your digital
camera means that you never have to worry about memory problems as they can be
recharged at anytime; even when they are partially drained!
Rechargeable c batteries are Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries that are
perfect for high-drain devices such as digital cameras. They have a longer life
span; almost 4 time more that regular alkaline batteries. The best part is that
rechargeable c batteries can be recharged up to 1000 times without any wear and
tear. Now there is no need to carry extra sets of batteries and spend loads of
money on alkaline batteries when you can have rechargeable c batteries for your
digital camera. Just carry a charger with you and you are good to go!
Rechargeable c batteries are also great for children’s toys that typically use
up a lot of batteries due to continual usage. You can save a lot of money on AA
batteries by replacing them with rechargeable c batteries. Now your children can
play with their toys for a longer duration without draining the battery fast.
Once drained you can always recharge them and use them for long hours of fun and
entertainment. This way you don’t have to keep replacing the alkaline batteries
and cut down of play time for your kids.
There are different capacities of rechargeable c batteries. If you want to use
them for high-capacity usage devices then make sure you get rechargeable c
batteries with a higher mAh. But a typical lower mAh rechargeable c battery is
food enough for flashlights and toys.
Basically the C type batteries are the most commonly used batteries. You get
them in pre-charged applications too. But these batteries don’t last long if
used in high-draining devices. Hence rechargeable c batteries are a better
choice.
Rechargeable c batteries have long shelf life making it a perfect investment for
high-capacity devices. Imagine spending all that money on getting pre-charged
batteries, plus stacking loads of them in your drawers is a real mess! Instead
spend a bit more and get rechargeable c batteries and you are good to go for
years. Once drained, just recharge them and continue with your usage.
Practically speaking, rechargeable c batteries are much more economical in the
long run when compared to pre-charged c type batteries.
Rechargeable c batteries are available using NiMH and Nickel Cardium (NiCAD)
technology. The NiCAD batteries are much stronger in terms of power whereas the
NiMH batteries are more modern, have great capacity and have no memory effect.
Rechargeable c batteries can replace pre-charged batteries in most applications
that require one or two batteries.
Rechargeable c batteries work in applications only if the device permits that
particular design; for example digital cameras. But some devices such as digital
radios do not support rechargeable c batteries as they need higher voltage than
NiMH and NiCAD batteries can provide.
